The fifth change that needs to occur is our perspective it goes from short term perspective to long-term. So when looking from a manager point of view they need to be able to give support to those who choose to move on in another job and for those who want to move up in the job. They should encourage their employee. A item that a manager should have is a day planner because this allows them to see what is going to happen in the future and the past. It keeps them organized, aware of what is going on, and the tasks that still have to be finished.​​
